Glad your home and doing well.

The drain tube was the biggest pain of all.  I actually started to have some pain in my chest about 4 days after my surgery and called the doc and the nurse said that it was probably from the drain tube, they told me if it didnt go away thru the day then to call them back and they would instruct me how to take it out.  Of course the pain didnt go away so I called them back and they gave me the instructions on how to take it out and hubby took it out for me.  The pain went away.

Hang in there it gets easier every day.

You know my drain tube didn't really bother me and I wasn't in very much pain.  That being said I must admit that I faithfully took my loritab for the first week.  I had 3 C-sections and I though I was so tough after the second one that I didn't need pain meds so I refused them.  What a mistake that was!!  I learned then that if you let the pain set in, it is much harder and longer to get rid of it.  Take your pain meds, walk, sip, etc.!
